Breakfast update Ian Hardy, warden of St George's College  - Thursday 6th February

It was an absolute pleasure to hear from St George's College Warden, Ian Hardy about the proud and rich history of the College and its forefathers. Ian spoke at length of Sir John Forrest and Sir John Winthrop Hackett and Archbishop Riley who were the founders of the college. He delved in to the valuable contribution of Sir John Winthrop Hackett who went on to become the first Chancellor of UWA and left a significant sum in his will which enabled the foundation of the College.

Ian spoke at length of the College and facilities, however he also gave us a glimpse of his life and how he ended up as Warden of the College.

Great to see our RYLA candidate Georgia Whisson recently votes by her peers as best "Sheila". as we well now, the RYLA program offers young adults a unique opportunity to learn, grow, have fun, and make new friends. The RYLA experience prepares young people to be leaders in their community, profession, and other facets of everyday life.

Congrats Georgia!
