This week Bernie Foley for his 2 minute noodle gave a good History of volunteer group Apex and his membership of Club's Beverley, Gnowangerup, Katanning & Morley up until his age of 40 where all Apex memberships cease.  
 
 
Announcements
 
Bernie Foley announced that RYPEN has been cancelled this year due to the fuel crisis.
 
 
President Elect Tony Pepper announced that in support of the Lift the Lid fundraising for Australian Rotary Health the Rotary Club of Dalkeith is organising a walk on 18th April 2026. Please join Tony and President Kym on the fundraising walk, more information is on the link below.
 
Neil Hancock mentioned that the Catering School opposite Miss Mauds on Hay Street West Perth (old ANZ Bank Buliding) is still a possible new venue that he is exploring.

Guest Speaker
 
The Guest speaker on 2 April was Geoffrey Kingsford, Strategic Relationship Manager of Prison Fellowship Australia who have been restoring lives since 1981. His talk was a very informative summary of a lot of what Prison Fellowship does including the Angel Tree Gifts at Christmas, camps at Busselton, mentoring inmates while in Prison and many, many more worthwhile initiatives. Geoffrey was thanked on behalf of the Club by Tony Delich.
 
 
 
 
 
Robs Long Walk Home starts April 19

Please note that the Bendigo Bank has offered to donate up to $10,000 for funds raised via the above link on April 15th and 16th.
If you want to double your donation by it being matched by the Bendigo Bank, please donate on the 15th or 16th of April, Rob's walk starts on 19th April.
