- This morning Ms Anna Reece the Artistic Director of the 2026 Perth Festival was meant to speak to us but unfortunately she did not arrive.
So, our own member Ant Ulijn stepped up and presented a very professional slide show on his thoughts on how to target new members in the 40 to 50 year old age group. It was a great presentation which was enjoyed & well received by all who attended. Ant will email his presentation to all members.
Announcements
Before the meeting Tony Delich gave us an update on the Residential property market and lack of supply fuelling the high prices.
Neil Hancock also gave us an update on the World shortage of RAM (random access memory) and how it has resulted in a 300% price increase and how it will affect the price of all products with computers like smart TV's Cars etc. The shortage is due to the three large Tech Companies buying up all the RAM for the development of AI (artificial intelligence)
- Geoff Hick announced our continuation of the Indigenous Medical Student Scholarship for next year of $2500
- A bottle of red wine was donated to the Club by Arthur Blaquiere and was Auctioned off for $35 to yours truly, thanks Arthur for your generosity
- The Club is sending our annual $1000 of toys for Christmas presents for the Patricia Giles Centre (a domestic violence refuge for displaced women and children).
- Our Teachers Award to the Teacher of the year of Hampton Senior High School will be announced on Friday 19 December and presented $1000.
- The parting thought by our President Kym was a quote by Vincent Van Gogh - Great things are done as a result of a series of smaller things brought together.

This Bulletin is our second via the Clubrunner website and it will be done this way by our Treasurer Geoff Woods as no one else has volunteered to prepare the Bulletin on a weekly basis.
