Breakfast Meeting 16 July - Presentation by Tony Delich
Join us on Thursday 16th July for breakfast from 7am to 8:30am and hear from Tony Delich, providing an overview of the plans for Swapmeet over the comingyear.
In order for Swapmeet to succeed, we value input from all club members. Join us and have a say about how you feel we can get the best out of Swapmeet.
Please do not forget to pre-pay $22 for breakfast or $6 for a ZOOM Meeting to our Club Account and b sure to please put surname in Description Box. If you need the bank account details, please drop the secretary a line.
As requested at the last Club breakfast, here is list of the board member and their roles. AS presented by President Stephen Lee a few weeks ago, this new Board structure aligns to our strategic plan for 2020 - 2023 and we look forward to having all members actively engaged in Club activities and projects going forward.
Nathan and three of his mates are well on their way to raise a significant amount of money to support Australian Rotary Health - Mental Health Research. Mitchell, Marcelo, Nathan and Sam will run a full Marathon on August 15th. Here is what Nathan has to say -
"We are up to $2806 for the charity. It has been an amazing response from all my family and friends as well as the boys. We have changed our previous $2000 goal to now $5000! As we still have over a month until the marathon!"
Nathan would love to get support for this $1 per 1 km idea, and a Marathon is 42,2 kilometres. He hopes that Rotary Clubs or members might be able to support him and his team, individually or through Rotary members' Businesses.
SwapMeet is not only a great opportunity to raise funds for the Club, it's also a great time to catch up with friends. Here are fellow Rotarians Geoff Hick and Bernie Foley.
