The 1st October was a Club Day and we received a number of reports from Directors.
Tony Delich
Held a meeting with Fisher Digital regarding the making of promotional videos to attract new members. Younger actors are needed. Some thought about working with Elizabeth Quay. Videos of the Magic Show will be included and other projects such as our involvement with Hampton Senior High School could be included.
Kym MacCormac
On membership, he added that we have a budget of $3 - 5 K to produce the videos.
The Club dinner on 19 October at CU29 should be an opportunity to introduce other prospective members to the Club in an informal setting. The cost of the evening will be $80 pp.
Geoff Woods
The Magic Show should net about $55K again this year.
The audited financial statements will be ready in time for the AGM.
The budget for this financial year sees us with approximately $75K to spend ($55K from the Magic Show and $20K being 50% of the earnings in the trust). Major beneficiaries this year will be Life Education and Neuro Muscular WA. Geoff will circulate a more detailed breakdown to members.

The 4 Way Speaking Competition was concluded. The Year 9's are in training for 2027.
We support HSHS in its fundraising efforts for Telethon.
The Principal of HSHS is preparing a submission for a student for the Stan Perron Award.

Tiny Tots project - looking for clothing young girls having babies.
Vocational and Other
The Junior Doctors Award presentation will be at breakfast on 3 December.
Bernie attended an ARH presentation on Muscular Dystrophy.
Arthur Blaquiere
Held a Community Service Sub-Committee meeting recently.
Bedding is being collected and will be donated via the RC of Attadale.
Arthur is stepping down as Community Services Director and John Tick will take over.

Tony attended a meeting of the Swan 2 Surf Rotary Community Group. We are reminded of the objectives of the group. A representative would like to make a presentation to the Club at a breakfast meeting. There was also a reminder of the invitation to attend the Liquid Gold Polio Dinner on 23 December at the Royal Perth Golf Club.
DG Veronica congratulates the Club on reaching Level 1 in The Rotary Foundation Club Annual Donor list.
DG Veronica invited the Club to participate in the planned District Expo to be held in Forrest Place on Saturday 17 April to mark 100 years of Rotary service in Western Australia.
