Twenty three members and three guests joined us for a delightful continental breakfast last week to hear from Olivia and Daniel from the Foyer Oxford. Together they provided and insightful overview of the operations and programs of the Foyer Oxford and the support it provides to youth ages 16 - 25.
This venue provides a stable place to live for up to 96 youth who are looking for security and stability in their life as they get motivated to work or study. Case managers regularly meet with the youth and support them with their progress. Individuals are selected following an application process, and interview and background checks and if founds suitable are offered the opportunity to stay for up to two years. They are required to contribute to rent, social activities and demonstrate they are progressing on their journey of achieving their goals.
As coordinated by Mally Rall WPRC supported Foyer Oxford project in 2020 and evidenced by the many questions asked by our Club Members it was very clear we very much look forward to how we can continue to the grow the relationships and support we offer this deserving organisation in 2021 and beyond.
