Speaker: Janice Early from Comfort Keepers
We were privileged to share the company of Janice Early and Grace Kelly from Comfort Keepers WA, an organisation that provides a range of tailored home support services, designed to keep West Australians independent in their own homes and connected to family, friends and the wider community.
They provide a variety of private or funded programs designed to an individual the support they needed. With over 30 years experience in the age care industry you can feel that Janice is emotionally investment in her job and the community she serves.
Janice confirmed the importance of our aged Australian community remaining independent, safe and comfortable living in their own home, and still supported to live their best lives.
Janice highlighted that following the findings from the Royal Commission into Aged Care there are many areas that require focus and attention for improvement in the sector, however there is still lots of examples of excellent care within the sector that should be shared and celebrated.
