Elizabeth Gorey auctioned off one of her glorious Christmas cakes and John Tick was lucky enough to have the winning bid for $20. Thanks Elizabeth and John.

Arthur Blaquiere Community – Funding has now been sent to the Patricia Giles Drop-in Centre for a new freezer and food for the freezer totalling $1700. The food to be used for Families when they drop in unannounced after suffering a domestic violence incident.

President Kym announced that Pat Emery and Sue Coates were lucky enough to survive a Tsunami while on holiday in Japan

Geoff Hick announced he picked up drawing supplies for the Patricia Giles Centre from Jacksons.

Neil Hancock announced the massive price hike in computer memory coming due to the purchase of one third of the worlds RAM by one computer software company for their AI (Artificial Intelligence) development.
 
Next Ethnic Dinner – Chez Pierre, Claremont, Thursday 14 May 2026, there is no breakfast meeting on this day.

The Guest speaker on 23 April was meant to be our Member Nathan Blockley but unfortunately with Pat Emery being away this was not confirmed and Nathan was a no show.
 
When Pat is away we need his deputy to confirm that the Guest Speakers will definitely be coming, even if it is a reminder to them.
 
Lift the Lid Walk on Saturday 18 April 2026
President Kym and Suz at Rotary Health campaign Lift the Lid Walk at UWA Saturday 18 April raising money for Australian Rotary Health's research into Mental Health.

Robs Long Walk Home started April 19
 
Don't forget all proceeds raised by Robs Walk go to Neuromuscular WA formerly Muscular Dystrophy Association of WA.
Rob has currently raised over $30,000 towards Neuromuscular WA on his walk.
