Our Guest Speaker this week was Gabor Bedo talking about Javan Indonesia, Cultural, Economic and Political heart of Indonesia.
Gabor gave a comprehensive history of Indonesia which was enjoyed by all.
Gabor was thanked on behalf of the Club by Ian Hutton
2 Minute Noodle
Please remember that 2 minute Noodles are meant to be 2 minutes, not 10 minutes, it is important for the flow of the meeting that they are no longer than 4 minutes maximum please.
This week the 5 minute noodle was given by Mally Rall talking about How to improve your memory with many tips from National Geographic Magazine.
Announcements
President Tony announced the following:
Perth Blue Dragon supporters are holding a Walk Event at Langley Park on Sunday 13 September.
West Perth Local are holding their AGM at CU29 on Friday 4th September from 4.30pm to 7pm.
The Rotary Club of Matilda Bay have withdrawn from volunteering at the Op Shop.
Neil Hancock advised that on behalf of the Club, he, Tony D, Kym and President Tony had a meeting with a digital marketing company to put together a 2 minute promotional video of our Club for our website and social media with the view to attracting new members.
After two weeks of asking, no one has volunteered to be Bulletin Editor which will be vacant from 8 September, no Bulletin Editor means no Bulletin.
I will be away travelling from 8 September to mid-December.
